She believes, “Church should be a place where people feel safe, welcomed and excited about contributing their unique gifts and graces to create a community that cares for one another, grows spiritually together and reflects Christ’s love to the world. And we should have a joyful time doing it!” She sings with the Mixed Chorus of El Camino College, loves gardening and traveling. She and her husband of 34 years have three children and two granddaughters, and two doggies they spoil shamelessly (well, okay, they spoil the granddaughters a little too).
