Community Connections:

We invite you to Community Connections, a free Expo for our neighbors offering information about services and volunteer opportunities in Westchester and nearby areas of Los Angeles. It will take place on Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The church is located across the street from the Westchester YMCA on the northwest corner of Sepulveda Blvd. and 80th St.

The expo is intended to be a day to discover a range of community organizations in one place. Participants will range from The Neighborhood Council of Westchester to The Los Angeles Arts Collective.

We hope you will help yourself to resources, volunteer opportunities and the chance to connect with fellow Westchester residents.

Over 55 local organizations will have table displays with information about what they do, who they represent, and the services they provide. There will be many opportunities to find out about local sports, education, entertainment, service, and volunteer groups.

We hope you will stop by, say hello, and meet your neighbors!
